Change to Heat Value Factors utilized for Pooling and Banding Instructions
Effective April 1, 2026 the Heat Value factors used to convert energy nominations at the Empress and McNeill borders to equivalent volumes for Pooling and/or Banding Instructions will be updated as follows:
Empress: 39.0
McNeill: 39.0
TC Energy changes the posted Heat Values to align the conversion factors with the actual heating value trend for gas delivery at the East Gate border points.
