At approximately 2:00am CST on January 24, 2026, Guardian Pipeline experienced an interruption at its Joliet Compressor Station. This interruption was caused by a power failure and resulting trip of the fire detection system that resulted in an emergency shut down of the facility. Restoration was exacerbated by extreme weather conditions.
By approximately 3:00pm CST on January 24, 2026, remediations were completed and the Joliet Compressor Station was returned to service.
